Terrigal, New South Wales
The Skillion headland near Terrigal in New South Wales bears the brunt of punding surf. Many mornings can be spent here waiting for the right light and even the right wave to be captured on film. The beauty about using film, and large format at that, is that you just don't know what you have captured until the film is developed. Nothing beats peering over the lightbox looking at what you have caught and when an image like this appears you know that all the patience has paid off.
